About Armen Boyagian | Sports Photographer

I'm Armen Boyagian, originally from Michigan, the Motor City, where my passion for photography began at age 9, capturing the Marlboro 500 at Michigan International Speedway. I remember running out of film on the last lap and being devastated,  but that frustration sparked something in me, and I knew I had to keep going.

I spent years as a weekend warrior before catching my first big break as a credentialed photographer in 2012. I'm driven by a love for fast-paced action, on the track and on the ice, capturing the intensity, precision, and emotion of every moment. Since then, I've covered top motorsport and hockey events including IMSA, IndyCar, MotoAmerica, NCAA hockey, and the AHL,  traveling coast to coast and working with top athletes and teams. I bring a professional, quick eye to every shoot, whether it's a high-speed pass on the track or a game-winning goal on the ice.

 

When a camera's not in my hand, I work as a social worker helping those in need. Outside of that, you'll usually find me on the water fishing or just enjoying life.
